About us
The Estaire Volunteer Fire Department is a dedicated group of volunteers committed to protecting our community from potential emergencies. Our department was established in 1982 and has been serving the residents of Estaire ever since. Our team consists of numerous volunteers who are passionate about providing prompt response times, fun community events and fundraisers. Our firefighters are trained to the Ontario Fire Marshals Standards. We are equipped with a Pumper truck provided by the OFM, a Tanker truck purchased by the department, as well as a rescue vehicle which was donated to us. We are equipped with bushfire fighting equipment and resources to handle a wide range of fire-related situations as well as highway/ road incidents. We are also CPR and first aid trained to attend medical calls and assist paramedics where and when necessary.
- Fire suppression and emergency response: The Estaire Volunteer Fire Department responds to all types of fires, including structure fires, wild land fires, and vehicle fires. We also provide emergency medical services and assist in other types of emergencies.
- Auto Extrication: Our team is fully equipped with the hydraulic tools necessary to extract patients from a vehicle involved in an accident.
- Fire prevention and education: The first and most important step in fighting fires is education. We take pride in providing fire prevention and education to our community.

Services
Fire suppression and services:
The Estaire Volunteer Fire Department responds to emergency calls for structure fires, bush fires, train fires, and power line fires providing critical fire suppression and rescue services to protect the community and save lives.
Emergency medical services:
In addition to fire and rescue services, the Estaire Volunteer Fire Department also provides emergency medical services. Trained volunteers can respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving care until an ambulance arrives.
Fire prevention education:
The Estaire Volunteer Fire Department is committed to providing comprehensive fire prevention education and outreach programs to our community in order to promote fire safety and reduce the risk of fire-related incidents.

The Estaire Volunteer Fire Department has been serving our community for over 40 years. Our dedicated team of highly trained volunteers is committed to protecting the lives and property of our residents. Our department is made up of 20+ volunteers who selflessly give their time and energy to respond to emergency calls and provide assistance to those in need. We are proud to say that our members come from all walks of life, representing the diversity of our community.
